Asking Better Health Questions
Get More From Your AI
The quality of answers depends largely on how you ask. Here is how to frame questions for the most useful, personalized responses.
Be Specific
Instead of How is my health, try How has my sleep quality changed over the past month, What is my average resting heart rate this week compared to last month, or Am I meeting my step goals consistently.
Include Time Frames
Be clear about the period: in the past week, over the last 30 days, since I started using xHeal, compared to January, or on weekdays vs weekends.
Ask About Patterns
The AI excels at finding patterns: Is there a pattern to when I sleep best? What days do I have most energy? Do my flare-ups correlate with anything? What typically happens to my HRV after poor sleep?
Provide Context
Instead of Why am I tired, try I have felt tired the last 3 days even though I think I slept well. Can you look at my sleep data and other factors that might explain it?
Ask Follow-Up Questions
Can you explain that in simpler terms? What specifically should I do? How does that compare to normal? What other factors might be involved?
Example Question Categories
Data Queries: What was my average blood pressure last month? Show me my weight trend over 6 months. How many hours of sleep did I get on average last week? Pattern Analysis: What factors affect my sleep quality most? Is there a relationship between my stress and HRV? Recommendations: Based on my data, what should I focus on? Should I work out today given my readiness? Education: What does HRV mean? Explain my cholesterol results in plain language.
What the AI Cannot Do
No diagnosis, no prescriptions, not for emergencies, and not a replacement for healthcare providers.
When to Ask Your Doctor Instead
Persistent abnormal readings, new or worsening symptoms, questions about medications, mental health concerns requiring professional support, or any situation where you would normally see a doctor.
Pro Tip: Before a doctor appointment, ask the AI to summarize your key health trends. This helps have more productive conversations with your provider.
