Flare-Up Tracking
Understanding Your Flare-Ups
If you live with a chronic condition, tracking flare-ups helps identify triggers and patterns. xHeal makes it easy to log flare-ups and analyze what might be causing them.
Logging a Flare-Up
- Go to your Daily Routine or Dashboard
- Tap Log Flare-Up
- Select the type (pain, fatigue, digestive, skin, etc.)
- Rate the severity (1-10)
- Note the time it started
- Add relevant details or notes
- Save the entry
What to Track
Symptoms (what you are experiencing), Severity (1-10), Duration (how long it lasts), Location (where in your body), and Suspected triggers.
Flare-Up Insights
After logging several flare-ups, xHeal analyzes: Time patterns (do they occur at certain times), Activity correlations (what did you do before), Sleep relationships (did poor sleep precede it), Food connections, and Weather impacts (barometric pressure, temperature).
Why Finder Report
Generate a comprehensive analysis: Go to Reports, select Why Finder, xHeal analyzes all flare-up data against health metrics, and receive a detailed report identifying potential triggers. The Why Finder looks at patterns across all your data to find correlations you might not notice.
Tips for Effective Tracking
Log consistently (even mild ones), log promptly (when details are fresh), be honest about severity, track good days too (for baselines), and review patterns monthly.
