Your data, your care conversations.
xHeal brings together the information you choose to add: records, wearable trends and everyday notes. This page explains the difference between processing information in xHeal, granting a clinic access and sending a report.
What happens to the information I add?
Uploaded records, connected health data and conversation history are processed and stored to provide the app’s features. xHeal uses service providers, including cloud hosting and AI processing. The app is not an on-device-only record store.
The Privacy Policy describes the categories of information, purposes of processing, service providers, retention and rights. It also describes the use of anonymized and aggregated information for AI development. This summary does not replace that policy.
Does finding a clinic share my information?
No. Browsing the public map, viewing a profile or opening its website does not grant access to your xHeal health picture. Public listings contain provider information, not member records.
How does sharing with a connected clinic work?
- Choose a connected provider and open its profile in the xHeal web app.
- Sign in if needed. If the app takes you to its home screen after sign-in, return to the clinic profile on this website and open it again. Choose the relevant service and review the appointment details.
- Review the health-data sharing choice before confirming. The public map does not grant permission on your behalf.
Provider access is checked in xHeal against the client’s sharing choice. Appointment and relationship details are distinct from access to health records. A provider’s connection status describes its xHeal integration, not its clinical credentials.
What does withdrawing access change?
Changing consent affects access through xHeal. It cannot recall a PDF that has already been downloaded, a copy you sent, or information a recipient has retained in their own records. Ask the recipient directly about copies held outside xHeal.
Can I manage or delete my history?
Use the controls available in your app or contact support@xheal.ai for access or deletion requests. The Privacy Policy explains retention periods and exceptions, including legal requirements.
What can an xHeal report establish?
A report can help organize information and questions. An association between two trends does not prove that one caused the other. AI explanations can be incomplete or incorrect; check the source information and discuss care decisions with a professional.
