Before you start

Guided Workout Sessions

xHeal provides structured workouts you can follow step-by-step, with automatic tracking of your exercises, sets, and progress.

Starting a Workout

From Recommended Workout: go to Workout section, view your Recommended Workout, review exercises and duration, and tap Start Workout. From Workout Library: tap Browse Workouts, filter by type/duration/muscle group, select a workout, and tap Start Workout.

During Your Workout

Each exercise shows name and demo, target sets/reps/weight, rest timer, and notes or form cues. To log sets, complete a set, enter weight and actual reps, tap Log Set, and rest timer starts automatically.

Navigation

Swipe or tap arrows to move between exercises. Tap overview icon to see all exercises. Jump to any exercise by tapping it.

Modifying On-the-Fly

To change weight, tap the weight field and adjust. Log actual reps completed, not necessarily target. Tap + to add extra sets or swipe to remove. To swap exercises, tap exercise name, tap Swap Exercise, and choose an alternative. Tap Skip to move past an exercise.

Rest Timers

Rest timer starts automatically after logging. Adjust rest duration by tapping the timer. Tap Skip Rest when ready. Phone vibrates when rest is complete.

Completing Your Workout

After the last exercise, tap Finish Workout, add optional notes, rate difficulty, and view session summary showing total duration, exercises completed, total volume, PRs achieved, and estimated calories.

Pro Tip: If you have an Apple Watch, workout data including heart rate syncs automatically for more accurate calorie estimates.
