Health Indicators Explained
Product documentation · xHeal team · Editorial update
For xHeal on iOS. Controls and availability can vary by app release; use the explanations and terms shown in your installed version.
Understanding indicators in xHeal
Start with the explanation attached to each indicator in your app. It should help you understand which information the indicator uses and what it represents. A wellness indicator is not a clinical grade for your overall health.
Check the source and date
Review the records and connected measurements behind a summary. Missing data, a change in tracking and a change in a physiological measurement mean different things.
Awareness and health status are different
Health Awareness helps you explore and understand your information. Learning progress or profile completeness does not establish whether you are healthy or unwell. Avoid comparing indicators with different definitions as though they measure the same thing.
Use the detail in a care conversation
Review changes over time and note any symptoms or relevant events. Bring questions and the underlying records to your care team rather than making a treatment decision from a single indicator.
Need help with a definition?
Use the in-app explanation for the version you are using, or contact xHeal support. You can also explore Health Awareness and prepare a health summary for an appointment.
