Viewing Health Trends
Understanding Your Health Trends
Seeing a single data point is useful, but the real power of health tracking comes from understanding how your metrics change over time. xHeal provides powerful trend visualization tools.
Accessing Trend Charts
Navigate to any vital from the Vitals tab, tap on the metric to open its detail view, and the trend chart is displayed prominently at the top.
Time Range Options
Switch between different time ranges: 7 Days for recent daily variations, 30 Days for monthly patterns and weekly cycles, 90 Days for quarterly trends and seasonal effects, 1 Year for long-term progress, and All Time for your complete history.
Reading the Charts
Line Charts are used for continuous metrics like heart rate, weight, and HRV. The line shows your values over time, shaded areas indicate healthy ranges, tap any point to see exact value and date, and pinch to zoom. Bar Charts are used for daily totals like steps and calories. Each bar represents one day total, color indicates goal achievement, and tap for detailed breakdown.
Statistics Panel
Below the chart, you will find key statistics: Average (mean value), Minimum, Maximum, Trend (increasing, decreasing, or stable), and Variability (how much values fluctuate).
Identifying Patterns
Look for weekly cycles (steps often drop on weekends), correlations (poor sleep precedes lower HRV), and anomalies (sudden spikes indicating illness or stress).
Exporting Trend Data
Open the vital detail view, tap the share icon, choose export format (PDF or CSV), select date range, and share via email, message, or save to files.
