Before you start

Streamlined Grocery Shopping

When you activate a meal plan, xHeal automatically generates a shopping list with all the ingredients you will need for the week.

Accessing Your Shopping List

Go to the Nutrition section, tap Shopping List, or tap the cart icon from your active meal plan.

How the List Is Organized

Ingredients are grouped by grocery store section: Produce, Meat and Seafood, Dairy and Eggs, Bakery, Pantry, Frozen, Condiments and Spices, and Beverages.

Using the List While Shopping

Tap any item to mark it as purchased - checked items move to the bottom. Each item shows the total amount needed for the week. Tap and hold any ingredient to see which recipes use it.

Editing the Shopping List

To add items, scroll to the bottom and tap Add Item, type the item name, optionally select category, and add. To remove items, swipe left and tap Remove. To adjust quantities, tap the quantity to edit manually.

Sharing Your List

Tap the share icon, choose format (text list or app link), and share via Messages, Email, or other apps.

Pantry Items

Some ingredients are assumed (salt, pepper, cooking oil). These appear in a separate Pantry Staples section you can expand.

Resetting the List

After shopping, use Clear Checked to remove purchased items, or Reset All to uncheck everything.

Tip: Review the shopping list before leaving for the store. Remove items you already have to avoid buying duplicates.
